About Me

I joined the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford, in June 2025 as a Researcher in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I am a member of the Medical Statistics group. Since Michaelmas Term 2025, I have also been a Research Member of the Common Room at Kellogg College.

I completed my PhD in Natural Language Processing and Biomedical Informatics in 2022 at Birkbeck, University of London. I then undertook postdoctoral research at University College London, with a focus on Deep Learning and Clinical Natural Language Processing.

A Brief Research Statement

My research lies at the intersection of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and healthcare informatics. This intersection has provided me with the opportunity to envision technological advancements for the safe deployment of these systems in critical domains through innovation in NLP. I aim to build safer, more reliable AI systems by advancing conditional text generation techniques, developing uncertainty quantification methods, and creating NLP-based verification frameworks. Through my work, I seek to bridge theoretical innovation with practical deployment, ensuring that AI systems are not only powerful but also trustworthy in high-stakes environments.

জানতে চেয়ো না তুমি নষ্ট-ভ্রষ্ট ছাপ্পান্ন হাজার বর্গমাইলের কথা:
তার রাজনীতি, অর্থনীতি, ধর্ম, পাপ, মিথ্যাচার, পালে পালে মনুষ্যমণ্ডলী,
জীবনযাপন, হত্যা, ধর্ষণ,
মধ্যযুগের দিকে অন্ধের মতোন যাত্রা সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন করে আমাকে পীড়ন কোরো না।
তার ধানক্ষেত এখনো সবুজ, নারীরা এখনো রমনীয়, গাভীরা এখনো দুগ্ধবতী,
কিন্তু প্রিয়তমা, বাঙলাদেশের কথা তুমি কখনো আমার কাছে জানতে চেয়ো না;
আমি তা মুহূর্তেও সহ্য করতে পারি না, তার অনেক কারণ রয়েছে।”
